My Friends the Owls

 

These lovely duo are from the Adorable Owls and are a Sale-a-Bration gift. This means every time you get your order up to £45 you get this Red Rubber set free. Now let me tell you how I made it

I got out a spare piece of card and used the Scalloped Contours  Dies to cut out cloud shapes if you wanted a more random look then you could tear the card, try to keep the card flat or the next step will be difficult.  

I got out one of the new colours Tahitian Tide and from our colour collection the Balmy Blue. I used one of the beautiful blending brush dipped in both colours to give me the colour I wanted.

As you can see from this picture I moved the die cut card this way and that to give it a cloud like look. 

Now for WENDY’s TOP TIP.

I keep 1or 2 inch strips in various colours so when I am un sure what colour to use I lay them side by side between the card and topper I can then see more clearly.

I have 

I don’t tend to give sizes as many have different size projects. I vary between half a centimetre. To sometime an inch depending how much I want the paper/card to show.

But the most important thing to remember is have fun and it’s only card and card has 2 side to allow for ooopppsssses.
