An evening walk

Hello my Stamping friends I really enjoyed making this card.

An evening stroll for the Deer family.

Using the dies only from the Grassy Grove

 

And here’s how it went.

Now the choices begin. I laid out the candidates  and picked the foreground and the background. The first cut was the trees but I hadn’t noticed that the top of the trees didn’t cut out.

So I turned over the paper and lined up where the top of the die with a pencil I went over it careful and cut it out.

Not bad I though and doing it like this you get a better finish than if you drawn a straight line.

This piece of paper I made using some shimmer powder and sprayed with water to activate the powder as you can see I could cut the deers out in different areas to suit dad, mum and baby deer.

That’s all I then had to do was cut a piece of Very Vanilla to 10 1/2” by 4 3/4”, all that was left was to position thing I put the background first then the foreground and last but not least the Deer family.
