Height Chart In A Box
Hello my Crafty Friends
For the last couple of days I have been working on a height chart in a box.
It is simple to make and doesn't require many items.
What you will need is:-
Woodland Wonder Stamp Set from Stampin Up, some papers, an ink pad and any pencils or pens if you want to colour in the little darlings.
STEP 1
Cut 3 pieces of A4 at 5 and a half. put some double sided tape on the short side of 2 pieces. I have learnt lately that if you add glue to the tape is does give you a bit extra bit of assurance that it will hold better. I used the front side of my desk to make sure they all were straight.
It is around 33and a half inches and for it to fit into the box score width way at 3" and fold taking care to make sure all the joined pieces are well adhered. It should now look like the photo below.
Now for the fun part.
I start with stamping the bottom of the tree up a little from the bottom (you can use this extra space for adding the child's name and birth height) I have left the measurements out so you can decide when you want to start. Don't forget you don't have to start with the chart touching the floor, but make sure you add the start height at the bottom eg: if you start 12" up the wall then your first measurement will be 12". I alternated the stamping between the long piece with Animal with a piece of the trunk without the grass to do this just wipe the ink off the bottom part of the stamp.
As you can see for stamping the top I did the leaves using a couple of green shade you can do this with a sponge. I did stamp the trunk first and wiped away any brown that went onto the leaves.
